ICN '22: Proceedings of the 9th ACM Conference on Information-Centric Networking,
(Henning Schulzrinne, Matthias Wählisch, Lixia Zhang Ed.), New York, NY, USA: ACM, 2022.
Abstract: Information-centric networking (ICN) opens a new direction to networking by making secured, application-named data objects rather than connections the core abstraction. This year, we particularly encouraged submissions exploring naming, security, new approaches to transport services, and lessons learned from ICN design and implementations, as well as new applications developed over ICN. ICN possesses unique architectural advantages that facilitate the development of distributed applications with built-in security. These architectural advantages are expected to facilitate decentralized application developments, which in the long run may help steer Internet applications away from further consolidation.
